MP servers can accommodate approximately 60 players as well as many ground vehicles such as tanks and other military targets. You can also fly as a machine gunner on a multi-crew aircraft such a bomber or attack plane. Once you join a match you can fly a single seat fighter or multi-crew attack plane or bomber. The server locator screen can help you determine which match is best for you. Each server has different goals and rules. You can join MP matches easily or you can join simply to be a spectator.
Multiplayer – Battle of Stalingrad has a robust MP environment with a built in server browser. Our powerful Mission Editor can be used to create custom missions. Custom Missions – These are custom designed stand-alone single-player missions where you can fly to hone your combat skills. As you progress through the Campaign you will learn about the history of the Battle of Stalingrad and win medals and ribbons. You can choose which difficulty level you want to fly with and as you get better you can turn off the helpers and progress at your own pace. As you successfully complete missions you will be offered the ability to use other historically accurate weapons, equipment and paintjobs. You can choose the type of mission you want to fly and choose what paintjob, weapons or equipment you want to load up. You can choose what type of plane to fly and what airbase you want to fly from. And fly through 5 unique phases of the Stalingrad battle. 
Campaign – Become a pilot of either the Soviet Red Air Force or German Luftwaffe. You can also select from several different types of engagements – Free-Flight, Skirmish, Survival and Duel. You can select the location, planes, weapons, skins, altitudes, wind, clouds and weather. Simply select the parameters of fight using our easy to use interface. Quick Mission Builder – The Quick Mission Builder (QMB) allows you to create a combat encounter very quickly. You may even want to join a virtual squadron! The La-5 and FW-190 A3 are also included as non-flyable AI controlled fighter aircraft. There are 5 phases total which combined tell the story of the Battle of Stalingrad. You can then take the weapons and equipment you earned in the Campaign to multiplayer servers and custom single-player missions. As you advance you’ll be offered a chance to fly missions in the next phase of the battle. You’ll also be given access to new historically accurate paintjobs and mission types. As you fly the single-player Campaign you’ll gain access to additional historically correct weapons and equipment. The end result is a challenging and immersive flying experience that prepares virtual pilots for long term success in other modes of gameplay such as multiplayer and custom single missions.
